Visit Sweet Decadence During Newcastle Days - September 9th &
10th!
Newcastle Days begins with a Kick-off Sidewalk Sale Friday
Sept. 9th from
3-7pm and a prize drawing at Sweet Decadence at 7:30pm. On Saturday
Sept. 10th, the celebration continues in Lake Boren Park with
activities for kids, a Beer & Wine Garden sponsored by the Newcastle
Chamber of Commerce
and live entertainment featuring Alan White.

Sweet Decadence Chocolates-Newcastle, a gourmet chocolate, coffee
and wine bar located in downtown Newcastle, Washington, is proud to
participate in the city's annual Newcastle Days celebration beginning
with the Merchant Sidewalk Sale
on Friday. The celebration will continue on Saturday with a
Beer and Wine Garden sponsored by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce
and entertainment that includes Alan White.
On Friday, September 9, from 3 to 7 p.m., a “downtown kickoff” event will include merchant sidewalk sales and
a 7:30 p.m. drawing at Sweet Decadence for some outstanding prizes. Wine tastings, wine by the glass, salads, appetizers, coffee and gourmet chocolates will be available at Sweet Decadence until
10pm.
On Saturday, September 10, the Newcastle Days Celebration moves to Lake Boren Park with
the Newcastle
5K at 8:30am, activities for kids of all ages throughout the
day, a car show, and a Beer and Wine Garden organized by the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce, featuring
five Washington wineries. The Beer and Wine Garden will be open from 10:30 am to 7pm and is for adults, 21 and over. IDENTIFICATION WILL BE CHECKED/CONFIRMED.

Live entertainment will continue throughout the day at Lake Boren Park. Center Stage will stay busy with local dance groups, live bands "Tusk" and "About Face", young magician Matt Wells, and finishing with professional drummer Alan White!
Alan White of "YES" will perform with his band "White" at Newcastle Days!
ALAN WHITE, legendary British rock drummer of the band YES will perform with his band "WHITE" as the headliner for the annual community celebration. A Newcastle resident, Mr. White will perform for his “hometown” folks on center stage, Saturday, September 10, at
6:15 p.m. @ Lake Boren Park.
