Sandra Wixon has been making chocolate since she was 19 years old.   She has always been a fan of Disneyland and wanted to bring a bit of that to her home in Newcastle, WA.   Most days you can find her and her amazing team in the open kitchen dipping, decorating, cooking and experimenting to find ways to delight your palate.   She and her team are known to be creative not only in creating  amazing taste sensations but in naming these confections.   
 
One of her favorite confections is the Kasie Ann Caramel.  This is a name sake for the ladies in her family.  Starting with Grandma Anna Pahanish, Mother Barbara Ann, Herself Sandra Ann, and Daughter Kasie Ann and ending with the sweetest of the Ann's is Annie our sweet little Bichon Baby Puppy.  Thus the name Annies Coco Nutz!   Sandra's Mother was all too anxious to be able to come to the new chocolate shop to realize the excitement we had so long anticipated with her daughter and granddaughter.  Sadly Barbara had a stroke and passed away  April 20, 2008, two weeks prior to opening of the shop.  This made our  May 1st 2008 opening a little bittersweet.  However we know she would be so proud of the namesake and the sweetness that flows from our little confectionary.
